Activities

Our residents stay busy with a wide range of social, recreational and spiritual activities throughout each day. Much like "home", residents may start the day with morning coffee and discussion of the news, then attend a crafts lesson, engage in group physical fitness exercises, participate in various games or enjoy entertainment provided by local talent.

With fair weather in this region of southern California for most of the year, outdoor activities occur frequently. During the winter and spring months, out staff members and volunteers accompany our residents on day trips to the Colorado River Fair and the famous Blue Grass Festival. During the fall clients enjoy watching the homecoming parade from our front porch and heading to the park to watch ball games. Holidays are celebrated with special events carried out with the participation of community members who remember our residents in special ways.
